Magnesium Thixo Chips / Magnesium Thixo Granules / Magnesium Alloy Particles

Magnesium Thixo Chips serves as the key raw material for Thixomolding—a semi-solid magnesium alloy injection molding process. This process produces castings with high density, excellent dimensional accuracy, and superior mechanical properties, making it especially suitable for high-precision components such as thin-walled parts. The chips are heated to approximately 560–630°C to create a thixotropic slurry, then injected into a mold in an argon-protected environment to form high-precision components.

Applications：

Automotive:  Lightweighting of both new-energy and conventional vehicles is the main impetus. Typical applications include: Large structural components, Chassis and powertrain, Body components, etc.

3C and Consumer Electronics:  Leveraging thin-wall forming capability (0.5–1 mm) and electromagnetic shielding properties, they are widely used in: Portable devices, Office and AV equipment, Thermal management components

5G/4G base stations:  Radio frequency (RF) filters and communication equipment heat sinks.

Aerospace:  Aircraft structural parts. Lightweight tail structures and aviation-grade components (often developed in conjunction with additive manufacturing/semi-solid processes).

Storage

The warehouse should be ventilated, dry, fire preventing, wet preventing, static preventing and the hermetic goods can be stored for 6 months.

In big bag, usually 1 MT per bag or 1.2 MT per bag. Metal drum.
